Growing up in the business, Eric has been in foodservice his entire life. Working through school, he has risen from his beginnings as a dishwasher all the way through management. Eric has taken some time away from the family business to attain both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as gaining valuable experience with the world-renowned Greenbrier Resort. Eric has also done foodservice and business consulting for some well-known restaurants in the New York City Area. After returning home in 2004, he has focused on ensuring that the different locations are running smoothly and are meeting the strict food quality and customer service standards that The Crab Shanty and Sea King have been known for.

Thomas Anuszewski, General Manager
Tom has been a member of the Sea King family since 1981. Working his way up from a crab steamer 25 years ago, Tom is now well versed in all aspects in the purchasing, preparation, and sale of seafood. Tom has a strong knowledge base when it comes to seafood, which he enjoys sharing with fellow employee and customers, alike. Tom is responsible for the overall operations of the Ellicott City Sea King location, as well as ordering of the majority of seafood for both Sea King locations as well as The Crab Shanty.

Paul Powell, Manager
Paul began steaming crabs at The Crab Shanty and Sea King in 1996. With his eagerness to learn, he quickly moved throughout the different areas of the restaurant/carryout, from washing dishes, through the kitchen, filling any necessary gaps, gaining truly invaluable practical experience. In 1999, he was promoted to a management position, assisting Tom Anuszewski ensure the needs of our Ellicott City customers are being met. Paul is a team player and always willing to do anything he can to help a fellow employee or customer alike.
Certifications & Degrees: A+ certified in Computer Repair, Serv-Safe Food Safety & Sanitation, currently pursuing degree in Music.
Kias Bynum, Assistant Manager
Kias originally joined the Sea King Family in 2004, as a crab steamer, at our former Randallstown location. He has spent time honing his food knowledge both as a line cook at The Crab Shanty and working the pit at Pig Pickers BBQ. He was promoted to the position of assistant manager in 2007. Kias also frequently assists The Crab Shanty catering staff at their off-premise catered events.
Eric "Robi" Robillard, Assistant Manager
Eric started working as a counter person for Sea King in 2002. Since then he has spent time as a crab steamer and was promoted to the position of assistant manager. When Eric isn’t managing he attends UMBC where he is studying media communication & film editing. Eric has certifications in ServSafe food safety, CPR, and is also an Eagle Scout. He also is belay certified for anyone wiling to take up rock climbing with him.
